Travis Tyler

Travis Tyler is a freelance sports writer and reporter pursuing full-time sports media opportunities. He currently contributes video and podcasting work to Fanatics View on YouTube and written work to Spartan Avenue (FanSided's Michigan State website) and his Substack channel (ttyler.substack.com). He has previous experience covering the NFL, college football, and college basketball for FanSided's national site, SEC Football for the College Football Dawgs, high school, college, and pro sports for the Dallas Express, and contributing to the Dallas Morning News' high school football coverage and LoneStarLive.com's high school sports coverage. His background also includes work with athlete representation agencies, sports podcasts, and various sports marketing platforms.

 

Travis is a member of the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA), the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, and the National Sports Media Association (NSMA). He has a Master of Science degree in Sport Management from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising from Michigan State University.
